The Waterfront District BIA is a not-for-profit organization in Thunder Bay which strives to promote the downtown north core as the place in Thunder Bay where the lake, land, and business come together.

The volunteer Board of Directors has a vision for the area as a vibrant and diverse downtown area, where residents, business and visitors come to enjoy a variety of land and water activities in a safe and beautiful environment.

The Waterfront District is known as Thunder Bay’s Entertainment District and is proudly home to many specialty shops, art galleries, the casino, an active bar scene which regularly feature live music, and a variety of restaurants to satisfy any appetite.
