The Waterfront District BIA is a place where lake, land and business come together. Our area is a vibrant and diverse downtown area, where residents, business and visitors come to enjoy a variety of land and water activities in a safe and beautiful environment.
The Waterfront District BIA is recognized as Thunder Bay’s Arts & Entertainment District and is home to fabulous locally-owned restaurants, unique shopping, art galleries featuring local and national artists, business services ranging from pampering at a spa to legal and financial institutions. The Waterfront District also boasts fabulous live entertainment in one of our many venues and is located a short walking distance to some of Thunder Bay’s well-known entertainment venues such as the Thunder Bay Charity Casino and the Magnus Theatre.
