The first ever Waterfront District Street Fair was held on Friday, July 29, 2011.  This event was sponsored by The Waterfront District BIA and held in conjunction with the 2011 Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Rally held from July 28-30, 2011.

The Street Fair was a free community event which took place on Red River Road from Court Street to Cumberland Street.  The fair featured the Shriners train and cotton candy booth, inflatable bouncers, vendors, face painters and crafts.  There was also a display of classic cars on St. Paul Street.  This event was a fun day downtown for the whole family as there were activities and items of interest for children and all ages.

The Waterfront District Street Fair brought many residents and visitors to Thunder Bay to the downtown north core to see what this area has to offer.  The Street Fair was supported by many local business and property owners in the Waterfront District.  The Board of Directors would like to thank in particular the City of Thunder Bay for their assistance and support as well as the organizers of the 2011 H.O.G.
